Eight Female Characters That I Love, But Everyone Else Seems to Hate

We’ve all had that experience when we enter a new fandom and find that character that we immediately fall in love with and they become your favorite. Then when you go online to find fandom related stuff for that character you end up finding nothing, but hate for them. It’s a horrible feeling when you grow attached to a character only to see that the rest of the fandom can not stand them.

So, I’m going to focus on eight characters, female specifically, that from my personal experience it seems that the fandoms that they are a part of seem to hate them for some reason. This is strictly my opinion. You are free to disagree with me, but please do it respectfully. Now, on to the list.

Book Review: The Time Machine by H.G. Wells

I wasn’t sure what I expected from this book, but after finishing the book, I just feel like….it’s an okay book. I felt like this book was really slow and at times was quite boring. The only parts throughout this book that I found interesting were when the Time Traveler interacted with Weena or the Morlocks. I really wished the author had spent more time developing these two points in the story. While I appreciated the world building that H.G. Wells did, it just seemed that he just dragged the story on and on. I also didn’t like the Time Traveler that much as a character. I found him a bit annoying and the only time he didn’t seem that annoying was when he interacted with Weena. Thinking about it, I think I would have much preferred to read a book about Weena and the Morlocks than about the Time Traveler.

Overall, the book was okay. I don’t know if I’d ever read it again, but I’m not opposed to the idea.
I’d give The Time Machine by H.G. Wells:

Sony to Remake The Craft……WHAT?!

Apparently, Sony has decided that they are going to remake the 1996 film The Craft, which starred Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True. Now, before I start my rant, I should say that The Craft is one of my favorite movies of all time. I can’t remember when I first saw it, but it has always been in my top 10 favorite movies. It’s such a good and creepy movie that was one of my introductions to witches. This movie and the show Charmed were my introductions to witches and what fueled my love of witches, so this movie has a special place in my heart. Now, it’s time for the rant.
