Okay, this book was a lot more enjoyable as a whole to me compared to The Wrath and the Dawn. It took me awhile to get into the first book, but I was hooked from the first chapter of this one. Now, I understand why I liked this one more than the first one and that’s due to the fact that the first one has to set everything up. It’s job is to introduce me to this world that Renee Ahdieh created and she did a great job in the first one, it just took me awhile to get into it.
