On the last RAW of 2019, Becky Lynch wants to prove she can beat Asuka, Charlotte announces she’ll be in the women’s Royal Rumble match, and Liv Morgan crashes a wedding.

Also, I should mention that I’m going to be changing the way I do my recaps. We’ll see if this works better for me, if not, then I’ll go back to the old way I used to do it.

Season 28, Episode 7 “Halloween Night”

So, things got in the way and I wasn’t able to do a recap for last week, but I do have some feelings about last week’s elimination which I will talk about under the cut.

The show starting with the little montage of Keo and Val in the elevator with all the different ghosts and ghouls was really funny, and then the troupe dance to Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” was great. I also enjoyed that the celebrities were more involved in the troupe dance than they usually are. I mean it was simple moves, but I liked seeing them involved.

Season 28, Episode 5 “Disney Night”

Before we start, I want to apologize for this being so late. Life got in the way and I wasn’t able to get around to watching the episode or writing up my recap as soon as I would have liked to. I’ll try to do better as the season continues, but you know how it is. Life just has a way of getting in the way sometimes.
Now, this opening number was super fun and I thought it was really cool that they incorporated some of the people who work at the park playing Disney characters. The routine was fastpaced and worked so well with the Disney songs that were played. I don’t really get why they aren’t having the cast do more dancing with their partners when they do have these opening numbers, but that didn’t take away from how entertaining this opening was.

So, let’s see how our contestants did when they were given iconic songs to dance to from iconic Disney movies.

Season 28, Episode 3 “Movie Night”

To start off “Movie Night” they had a movie preview talking about Mary Wilson’s elimination last week and then the show transitioned to the opening number. The dance was really fun and fast-paced, with all the pros and the rest of the troupe getting to showcase their skills.

Before the performances started Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews talked about how during the week Ray Lewis suffered an injury, but we’d have to wait until later in the show to find out what happened and if he would remain in the competition.
Now, let’s get to the dancing.

Season 28, Episode 2 “First Elimination”

So once again, this week’s episode started with a funny little prerecorded segment where Ray Lewis was trying to pump everyone up and stated that they were a team. Kate Flannery was quick to correct him by stating that they weren’t a team, that it was a competition. Ray then quickly wished everyone good luck, then left the room looking for his partner Cheryl Burke so they could practice.
There wasn’t much of an opening number, but Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews did explain the new voting rules. Instead of calling, fans would have to text names or vote on ABC.com. Also, they explained that the judges could save couples this season. They also were combining tonight’s scores with last weeks scores. Now, let’s discuss these performances.
